曾在實驗室裡用火槍對著金屬塊，看著它融成一團，浮在最上頭的渣滓，只有高溫才"逼"得出來。
沒有人喜歡被熬煉，但多數人會嚮往「像父一樣完全」，如詩歌〈煉我愈精〉所唱：你若不壓橄欖成渣，他就不能變成油；你若不投葡萄入榨，他就不能變成酒。
求主幫助我，能靠著聖靈、靠著神話語的光照，省察到自己內心的渣滓；求主幫助我，渴慕完全，以致在神所許可的熬煉中，因著盼望而忍受得住。

上帝對於人的請求，是有回應的！尤其是此請求符合上帝的旨意時。「約一 5:14 我們若照他的旨意求甚麼、他就聽我們．這是我們向他所存坦然無懼的心。」

The Lord tests our heart. There may be a little while when we have to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These trials are to prove whether our faith is of greater worth than gold.
Besides, we should learn to rejoice in our sufferings because "suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope"(Ro 5:3-4).

In the beginning of Joash's time, he led well; particularly, he put the temple in good repair. In the latter end of his time, after Jehoiada's death, he apostatized from God, and his apostasy was his ruin. He set up the worship of Baal again.
The judgments of God then came upon him for it. The Syrians invaded him. He was struck with diseases. His own servants conspired against and slew him. Since he was infamous, he was not buried in the burying-place of the kings. The termination of his reign might be a consequence of his disloyalty to the Lord.

"We are the world", it is not only a song name but also a real situation. The world is not easy to be separated with our daily living. However, we still need to be separated from the world. The difficulty is how to impact the world, but not escape the world.

"Godliness with contentment is great gain"(1Ti 6:6). Besides, our desire is insatiable. The more we have, the more we want. Therefore, to practice meditation in a spiritual awakening center is one way to free oneself from worldly temptations.
A monastery can serve as a resting place "to turn away from godless chatter and the opposing ideas of what is falsely called knowledge, which some have professed and in so doing have wandered from the faith"(6:20-21).

否認、禁止慾望，似乎無法真正使人"清心"，反而導致更多隱藏的犯罪、傷害更多人。不如承認、接受神造人時所賦與的需要，按著神的命令、靠著主的能力來行。
保羅顯然並不贊成「禁止嫁娶，又禁戒食物」(4:3)，而是主張「凡神所造的物都是好的，若感謝著領受，就沒有一樣可棄的」(4:4)。

Dear All, Peng An,
It is not easy to learn the timing about the obedience or negotiation for God's will. However, God still can listen our problems if we cannot understand HIM. For me, I still cannot have very close relationship with God. So, it becomes very hard to understand HIS promised land. What I only know is to thanks for HIM, HE already gave me so much. May God help me to understand you more and more from your words.

It is not easy to learn the timing about the obedience or negotiation for God's will. However, God still can listen our problems if we cannot understand HIM. For me, I still cannot have very close relationship with God. So, it becomes very hard to understand HIS promised land. What I only know is to thanks for HIM, HE already gave me so much.
