7:9 正月初一日，他從巴比倫起程；因他 神施恩的手幫助他，五月初一日就到了耶路撒冷。
帶ㄧ些貴、重的財物(金銀)橫渡肥沃月彎到巴勒斯坦，長達4個月，一定有人早獲風聲，覬覦一旁，以斯拉不折不扣在執行mission impossible，是否拒絕皇家警衛，我覺得還有討論空間，不過感謝神，還是ㄧ路平安。留給我們學習典範。

Dear All, Peng An,
Sometimes, we always forgot the power of our tongue. We thought the tongue is the smallest part of our body and it could not hurt people like using our hands. Actually, the words from tongue can hurt people more than using knife. Because it can hurt ones heart and cannot be healed by others. If we cannot keep clean with our tongue, no body will think we are clean. May Lord help me to be careful to speak out each word from my tongue.

The Lord wants us to tame our tongue. Though "it is a small part of the body, it makes great boasts"(Jas 3:5). "The tongue is a restless evil, full of deadly poison (3:8).
But out of the same mouth also comes praise.
The wisdom that comes from heaven is pure. I believe reading God's words can help tame our tongue. But of course His words should be digested and applied in our daily lives.

「我們用舌頭頌讚那為主、為父的，又用舌頭咒詛那照著 神形像被造的人。頌讚和咒詛從一個口裡出來！我的弟兄們，這是不應當的！」(3:9-10)求主幫助我，能在日常生活中謹言慎行，而不只是在教會的時候"用口"敬畏神。

Dear All, Peng An,
There are a lot of people believe different gods in Taiwan but only about 5% believes our God. So, it becomes very easy for us to have friends, relatives or others who believes other gods. When we are alone, exhausted or hungry, they will try to test our faith. It is a temptation from devil and it is also a trial from God. May Lord give me the enough power to break the temptation and pass your trial in this dark period.

To test whether His people worship other Gods, the Lord will send a prophet, your family members, closest friends, or a wicked neighbor to entice you. They are to lead you to go astray.
Therefore, close kinship or strangers will be likely means that God resorts to. Temptations may occur once in a while and we should strive not to fall into them.

The relationship between friends is a close interface with lots of touches, just like iron sharpened iron. We cannot be good friend only from one side; but we can be good friend by continuous interactions. Last month, I heard a speech from church. It is about our friendship with Jesus. The pastor wants us to sing the famous Christian song: What a friend we have in Jesus… and to think about our friendship with Jesus. Do we only want Jesus to be our friend but we did not want to be his friend? Actually, the question is do we only want Jesus to bear our problems but we did not want to share his problems? May Lord help me to be your friend not only from you.
