Dear Rev Tsai:

I have often heard that you are a popular speaker and in your own ways helped many others. I have a small suggestion, after reading your own "testimony," of course, this is from someone who lives in North America, and also away from your own culture. Your articles points to many disturbing thoughts: hatred, pride, suicidal and homocidal thoughts. After reading that you are a psychiatrist, I cannot but wonder, do you have certain amount of "depression" and certain degree of psychological disorder? Not many people have something this extreme, except, perhaps Liang Ying Chen, another famous evangelical speaker, and I also suspect he has hereditary psychological problem. One question I do have here: your blog suggests that others may obtain healing from having faiths in Christ, where is the line drawn for those that actually should seek psychiatric evaluation? Obviously, having a religious faith cannot be the total answer to a medical illness. Thanks, and I hope you do not take this in a wrong way.

亞倫的杖發芽，表意如何？ 從民數記 17:5節，我們看見：上帝為了教導那些背叛的以色列人，止住他們的怨言並確認亞倫的職分和職務，給他發芽的杖作記號，來證明亞倫和利未人是上帝所揀選的僕人。上帝為了公平起見要求從以色列人所有的首領，從他們手下取杖，按著支派，每支派一根；共取十二根。將各人的名字寫在各人的杖上（民數記 17:2節）。

為何上帝要摩西將這杖放在法櫃前，有何用意？上帝更要求每支派,每一根杖必須存放於會幕內法櫃前：這十二根同樣的杖存在耶和華面前，人都退後，由上帝親自解決祭司問題，由上帝作全權的處理。上帝以活生生的證據來指出誰是上帝真正揀選的祭司，這證據有雙重意義：1) 生命 -----利未族亞倫的杖已經發了芽，生了花苞，乃表明「生命力」。凡上帝真正揀選的人一定有豐富的生命流露出來，因為這正是上帝性情的彰顯。總要記得，惟有富有生命的事奉才蒙上帝悅納和使用。2) 結果──亞倫的杖「開了花，結了熟杏」，表明他的事奉是有果效的，能為上帝得人）。因此，一個真正屬於上帝揀選的僕人，他的生命必然在不同方面產生效能。

約翰福音 12:24 節告訴我們：「我實實在在的告訴你們，一粒麥子不落在地裡死了，仍舊是一粒，若是死了，就結出許多子粒來」。可見先「死了」的種子，爾後才能結出果子來，這正說明了事奉的代價：惟有經過死而復活，真正重生，有主復活新生命樣式的人，才是蒙上帝悅納揀選使用的工人。在教會裡，我們要格外尊重這種有豐富生命的工人，聽從上帝透過他的口和筆所傳出來的生命信息，不可發怨言，更不可隨意批評他或不與他合作推動上帝的聖工。

The ashes, mixed with water, would be that which would cleanse. If someone failed to follow this ritual and get cleansed, not only did the guy remain unclean and tainted by sin, but the holy sanctuary was also considered unclean.

This is God's grace to us. We could be cleansed from our unrighteousness each time we become defiled. The sacrifice of the heifer was referred to as a water of separation and the red heifer is a picture of purification.

神藉由人來完成的事必須依照神指示的方法來做，最終的目的是為了要榮耀神，然而，在過程中無法依照神旨意而行的人，他的生命仍無法活出神的榮耀。

The Lord told Aaron to treat his priesthood as a gift, and let him know that anyone else who comes near shall be put to death. This is to remind Aaron of the holiness of the Lord and His sanctuary (Le 10:1-3; 22: 1-2; Nu 18:7). Whatever we do concerned with serving the Lord has to be taken seriously so that God will be pleased with our work.

上帝有絕對的權柄與能力來讓枯死的生命重新得力，

Moses, as a shepherd, had a rod in his hand when tending sheep in the wilderness (Ex 4:2). This rod later became a symbol of the authority God gave to Moses (Ex 4:20).

The choice of the rod belonging to Aaron settled the issue of who was to represent the Lord in priesthood - the one whose rod sprouted and brought forth buds, blossoms, and ripe almonds. Thus Aaron was set apart from the congregation as holy.

Aaron's rod was kept in the ark of the covenant, symbolizing Israel's failure and rebellion. When God looked down from heaven into the ark, He saw emblems of Israel's sin.

Let people of Israel knew Aaron a priest who is selected by the Lord.
Put Aaron's stick in front of the Covenant Box. It is to be kept as a warning to the rebel Israelites that they will die unless their commanded. It means that we need to thanks to the Lord besides praying.
