雖未曾面對出死入生的情境，但詩人的禱告、經歷對我是很大的勉勵。有人落在極大的困難中，他選擇求告耶和華，求神救他的靈魂，而且還自勉「我的心哪！你要仍歸安樂」。在未得救之前，詩人即數算神的恩典，還說他要在眾人面前向神還願。願我面對苦難也有這樣的心志。

本篇苦難中蒙上帝拯救的種種經驗，某種程度上我都有。主，求祢幫助我在耶和華面前行活人之路！

"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints"(Ps 116:15). We are the apple of the Lord's eye. The Lord once compares humans' lives to those of two sparrows: "Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father"(Mt 10:29). Thus, we should have strong confidence that He will hear our voice as well as our cry for mercy (Ps 116:1).

之前曾看過一部『教會』（The Mission）的DVD，內容是描述十八世紀的南美洲，一群耶穌會的教士如何保護當地土著堅守信仰，而在西班牙殖民地爭奪戰中殉教的故事。這讓我曾思考一個問題，如果這些土著沒有傳教士來傳教，仍然過著之前野蠻人的生活，會不會避免被葡萄牙的軍隊屠殺的命運？
在這部電影裡，土著一開始也十分排斥傳教士，甚至將傳教士綁在十字架丟下瀑布，但是奇妙的是透過傳教士從豎笛裡出來的音樂，土著卻接受了傳教士也接受了上帝。然而羅馬教廷卻為了維護殖民政府的利益，要求教士放棄土著離開教會，導致最後仍以悲劇收場。
土著是野蠻人嗎？信奉上帝的教廷可以代表上帝嗎？在電影最後一幕裡，一位土著的小孩撿起染紅的十字架走回他熟悉的叢林，我想或許上帝想拯救人但是卻也因為人的緣故讓拯救要付出很大的代價。

我們在面對困境時，來到上帝面前訴說，尋求祂的解釋，按著祂的旨意來祈求！上帝定會成就！

二十章記錄了以色列百姓在埃及、在曠野、在迦南之離開上帝的歷史，但是上帝總是為了祂的名--萬名之上的名沒有傾倒憤怒。只是，上帝與他們的關係，從在列國面前向他們顯現V9、不領他們進入流奶與密之地，到分散列國與淒涼、甚至不被祂的百姓求問V31！以色列人的景況越來越往下...
上帝不被祂的百姓求問，是很嚴重的一件事情！新舊約的交界間，上帝也沈默了約四百年。

這大概是希西家作過最對的事情了。坦白說，真的不容易！就如亞述將軍所言，亞述的軍隊何其強盛，所到之處，無不盡行滅絕。先前希西家還求和，這次反而覺醒，回頭求上帝。真是不錯。
與牧師有同感，面對羞辱時，學習將一切委屈陳明在主面前，聽憑主斷。
