That "there remains a rest" (Heb 4:9) might mean there is a promise of rest made to the people of God and the promise of rest pertains to all the people of God of every generation.

In addition, here we are often worn down and exhausted but heaven is a place of cessation from wearisome toil. There might be "employment" there, but it will be without fatigue.

Rev. Tsai wanted us to think about what we could do in the heaven. This is indeed an interesting question. How wonderful it is to work in a stress-free environment! But what will I be during the eternal Sabbath?

「這樣看來，必另有一安息日的安息為神的子民存留。因為那進入安息的，乃是歇了自己的工，正如神歇了他的工一樣。」(4:9-10)神的子民才能享有「全然倚靠神」而來的安息。

保羅要我們「務必竭力進入那安息，免得有人學那不信從的樣子跌倒了。」(4:11)這安息是由我們的「信從神」而產生。

保羅呼應了先知以賽亞的信息，「你們得救在乎歸回安息；你們得力在乎平靜安穩。」(賽30:15)

我們可以從每天的禱告當中，檢視自己與神的關係
我們每天是如何跟上帝說話的呢？

Dear All, Peng An,

"There is no fear in love: true love has no room for fear, because where fear is, there is pain; and he who is not free from fear is not complete in love." 1 John 4:18

God is love, but it seems difficult to experience this complete love. The history of the Israelite people seemed to also reflect our own personal life history. When we cannot experience God's love, we always created another idol as our love. This behvaior will cause the fear of God for the sake of betray. May Lord help me to keep the faith for your complete love.

Probably none of us have ever imagined the day when we can see God in person and speak with Him. But those Israelites did experience it, so they were scared in the very beginning especially with the blazing fire in front of them.

May I not fear when the Lord's glory and majesty is shown to me one day! Furthermore, may I grasp the chance to go near and listen to what He says and then obey unquestioning. Prayer in Name of Jesus Christ~

回應子緣的"先求上帝的國和上帝的義"


上個禮拜（9月末）的講道，讓我很震撼
當時的我很猶豫到底要不要參加敬拜團
要的話，又是參加青契的還是大堂的好呢？
那裡拜三的查經，是否還要參加呢？

上禮拜去參加敬拜團卻因為他們在練習音樂會而撲空
本來有點失望的，不想去了...但是蔡牧師的講道，卻再次提醒我：我們理應當要將神放在首位！

我愛上帝，不是因為我以後想要上天堂
但是我必須承認，當天國收網時，我想要成為那被留下來的好魚。
而Tammy的見證也再度提醒我：我今天之所以能在台北，完全是因為上帝的恩典，那我豈能為了學校和事俗的事情而割捨教會的事呢？

有時候上帝爸拔會變成我的阿拉丁神燈，但是若我們的軟弱一次比一次還少，是否我們也是越來越像神的們徒呢？？
