Abimelech was angry because Abram brought great guilt upon him and his kingdom. Just as he told God, what he did to Sarah was out of a clear conscience. Whoever is lied to will get mad especially about relationship.

I was wondering why Abraham, as a prophet in the Lord's eye, would have made such a serious mistake. I felt pity for Abimelech since every womb in his household was closed up. What I learn from the event is that faced with relationship, I should never be too cautious.
