草戊尚土 牧師和各位俱樂部的兄姐，平安：

我想大衛在這裡對於惡人與仇敵的態度有點是『報復性的公義』(Retributive justice)，也就是『善有善報，惡有惡報』的因果律，這在約伯記也有類似的論述，或許人在遭到陷害時大概還是難免想要報復，或是祈求主替他主持公道，甚至是最好能讓對方嚐點苦頭。但是，這樣的公義往往是冷酷的，讓人受傷是不對的，但是你使讓你受傷的人受傷也是讓人受傷，這樣的彼此傷害便很難復原。

所以真正的公義還包含慈愛，也就是牧師常提到的『挽回性公義』(Transformative justice)，上帝並不是讓那些做壞事的人得到報應也就完了，祂會更進一步的要把那些做不對事情、行不義的人挽回過來，這也是基督教裡獨一無二的公義。

但願主憐憫我，讓我有慈悲與寬恕的心，不會咒詛曾傷害我的人，也讓我為自己曾傷害到別人事而認罪，求您賜我能力，讓我能遵行您的話語去愛我的仇敵，也幫助我軟化他們的心來原諒我。

God is our refuge and strength. When the Israelites were just released, they might have felt a great sense of insecurity and disbelief in their salvation. So God conveyed the following messages to them:

(Jer 31:2) "The people who survive the sword will find favor in the desert…"
(Jer 31:4) "I will build you up again and you will be rebuilt, O Virgin Israel.
And again you will plant vineyards on the hills of Samaria; the farmers will plant them and enjoy their fruit."
(Jer 31: 13) "…I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow."
(Jer 31: 17) "So there is hope of your future,…"

That's why we can always have peace in mind with our total dependence on Him.
