人所以為一定不會倒的強國，神藉先知預言其傾毀，後來真的一敗塗地，「我在答比匿折斷埃及的諸軛，使她因勢力而有的驕傲在其中止息...他們就知道我是耶和華。」
「耶和華的日子臨近，就是密雲之日，列國受罰之期。」這裡，我不太明白，舊約裡似乎都是以「受到審判」來形容戰敗國，今日仍然還是可以這樣看嗎？

God takes the sin of marital infidelity seriously. Those who engage in such transgression against God will pay a price for their sin unless they confess and repent.
In the law of jealousy, God provided a means whereby a husband who suspected his wife of unfaithfulness, but who had no actual proof, could take his case before the judgment seat of the Lord. At the same time, He provided a merciful recourse to His Throne for the wife who was unjustly accused, which was designed to prevent a reckless, self-centered charge of unfaithfulness.
The Lord hates sin but he insists justice. No one can escape from judgment when faced with Him.
