草戊尚土 牧師和各位俱樂部的兄姐，平安：
不是很明白以弗得上面的裝飾有何屬靈的意義，所以翻了蔡牧師的講道集『與神相會』，原來以弗得上面的兩塊紅瑪瑙，是表示要在肩膀上扛起迷失的羔羊，所以大祭司是扛著軟弱的以色列人來祈求神的扶持與幫助。
我想，上帝花了那麼多心思來說明要如何製作祭司的禮服，原因是為榮耀，為華美（Glory and Beauty），上帝要我們從這七件服飾裡學習如何讓自己的生命充滿榮耀與華美，其中以弗得便是要我們用最有力氣的肩膀來扛起我們的弟兄，如同哈里斯合唱團那首 『He ain't heavy, he's my brother』的動人歌詞，願與同行在天路的兄姐們分享。

I believe there are few people who hear what a person like the invalid said will not be sympathetic about his condition. Yet, only God is able to perform the miracle.
Whenever we feel it impossible for us to seize a good timing to get in a pool like Bethesda with stirred water, never get disappointed. All we need to do is think about how to answer the question posed by God, "Do you want to get well?"

An ephod was closely connected with oracular practices. In the book of Exodus, one is described as being created for the Jewish High Priest to wear as part of his official vestments.
Upon the ephod the Hoshen (breastplate), containing Urim and Thummim, rested. Textual scholars attribute the description of the Ephod in Exodus to the priestly source.
In front of God was the priest, which represented the Israelites. He had to take on the responsibility of telling people how to lead a religious life, serving as the spokesman of God.
