「這殿後來的榮耀必大過先前的榮耀；在這地方我必賜平安。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。」(2:9)
後來重建的聖殿似乎都不及所羅門王時代的聖殿，所以這裡的應許，指的是否就是主耶穌呢？
無論如何，將來新天新地聖殿的榮耀，肯定超過地上建築的億萬倍，每次想到這...，一則喜、一則憂。
喜的是，在主裡的盼望；憂的是，我有沒有過著討神喜悅的生活。（我不要將來在門外哀哭切齒啦！）

"…I will fill this house with glory…"(Hag 2:7). "The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former one…"(2:9). The glory might mean Jesus Christ, who came to the palace five hundred years later or mean that the Lord would bless the palace and His people.
