面對以色列人的悖逆，神雖管教，總不滅絕。為守對亞伯拉罕的約，也顯示從創世以來，祂對人的愛、計畫及拯救。所以，面對如此頑梗的以色列人，祂仍不斷絕地派先知傳講悔改的信息，在每次的處罰中，仍為以色列人，留下一小群的人。
是神的信實、也是神的恩典。

The Lord does everything with cause even when He brings out of survivors from the four dreadful judgments. Yet, we still have to be responsible for our relationship with Him since judgment is inescapable. Even Noah, Daniel, and Job, great as they were, could save only themselves by their righteousness.
Everyone's conduct and actions have to be revealed to the Lord. The survivors can't be too pleased with their being free from the disasters. The deepest sorrow might lie in the Lord's setting His face against them.
