In the order of the Nazirite there is the combined concept of separation, purity in holiness, and the "crown" of the royal priesthood. To be blessed by God is to have His name on us - to be identified with who He is and all His nature. What a gift!

The spiritual lesson is that we must not only love to be good, but love to be truthful. If we have inwardly in ourselves the heavenly affections symbolized by Aaron and his sons, our hearts and minds will be given perfect harmony.

When anyone makes a special vow, the vow of is that of Nazirite, to separate or to the LORD.
He shall separate himself from wine and strong drink; he shall not drink any juice of grapes or eat grapes, fresh or dried.
All the days of his vow of separation no razor shall come upon his head; until the time is completed for which he separates himself to the LORD, he shall be holy; he shall let hair of his head grow long.
All the days that he separates himself to the LORD he shall not go near a dead body.

All means the days of his separation he is holy to the LORD.
