草戊尚土 牧師和各位俱樂部的兄姐，平安：
『主啊，你世世代代作我們的居所。』
最近我的父親因為年事已高便不時地向我們提到他想要回大陸老家的心願，但是卻又因為他身上的疾病而遲遲無法成行。一個八十多歲的老人，在他年輕時經歷戰亂而離開家鄉，然而在他年老時卻渴望返回家鄉。
記得我最想家的時候，應該是剛上成功嶺的第一週，那時從來沒有離家的我，又被安排在號稱天下第一連的十三連，早晚出操外加擦槍行軍，在最疲憊的時候，我總是看著天上的白雲，想著家裡慈祥的母親。
或許摩西在曠野中流浪了四十年，看盡人生的喜怒哀樂都化成一聲嘆息，驀然回首時才發現最渴望的還是一個溫暖的家，能安穩地住在那裡享受愛與恩典，讓所有的勞苦愁煩都消逝而去，沒有懼怕也沒有痛苦，日夜都擁抱著溫暖的慈愛。

「誰曉得你怒氣的權勢？誰按著你該受的敬畏曉得你的忿怒呢？求你指教我們怎樣數算自己的日子，好叫我們得著智慧的心。耶和華啊，我們要等到幾時呢？求你轉回，為你的僕人後悔。」愚昧的我不知道上帝的旨意﹐其實有時候真的很怕自己會得罪他﹐而沒有來由的被處罰。所以只好多多讀祂的話語﹐明白神的心意﹐讓我有智慧可以了解祂的指示。

Jeremiah prayed for his people to God, asking God to restore themselves and to renew their days as of old. God is so merciful and will never utterly reject whoever turns to Him.
"Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy" (Mic 7:18).
Remember the disgrace and return. It is especially a good timing to follow Him closely when we are deep in sorrow. That's because He will reign forever and His throne endures from generation to generation.

God is not restricted by time, but we are. This reminds us to do something meaningful and make every day count. "For a thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night"(Ps 90:4). That's why we can solely rely on God since He is eternal.
May God teach me to number my days aright, that I may gain a heart of wisdom! Prayer in the name of Jesus~

之前電腦有問題，後來又換了上班時間，所以有些作息還在調整。星期六上課，牧師前來關心一下，所以下定決定，一定要想辦法再出現在俱樂部裡。

一個與上帝同行40年以上的智慧長者，深切又愛慕地回顧生命中的上帝，令人深深感動。
「主啊！你世世代代作我們的居所。」以色列還不算立國，迦南美地還沒有抵達，家園只能遙想，這時摩西卻提到居所，從這句話，我感受到摩西真的當上帝是他的一切。
居所--一個擋風避雨的地方，一個令人安全的地方，一個提供安慰的地方，一個產業的地方，一個被保護隱私的地方…。在每個人的心中，居所、家，都有著重要的意義。而對摩西而言，上帝就是他的居所，是啊！如果我也住在帳篷裡，不知道未來的家在哪裡？我能像摩西一樣地說「上帝是我的居所嗎？

Esther's story is quite similar to this story. The Jews' enemy Haman plotted to destroy the Jews (Esther 3). Esther fasted (not eating and drinking for 3 days, day and night-it is tough fasting) for her people (Est 4:16). She risked her own life to plea for the lives of her people (Esther 5-7). She stood firm, faced her enemies with courage and fought bravely (Esther 7-8). And in the end, the enemies were defeated, and the Jews celebrated their victory, celebrated Purim from then on (Esther 9). Esther demonstrated an example of "living beyond herself". She was willing to lose her life for the people she loved, but eventually she saved her own life and the lives of her people. Nehemiah's and Esther's love for their people compelled them to live beyond their lives and fought courageously against their enemies. This is love. God's love. Christ's love (2Co 5:14-15). Because of love, we are willing to lose our life for the one(s) we love.
