草戊尚土 牧師和各位俱樂部的兄姐，平安：
『你們不是自己的人；因為你們是重價買來的』（林前六19-20）
每次做禮拜在信仰告白時唸到：『我們信，人藉著上帝的恩典而悔改，罪得赦免，以虔誠、仁愛與獻身的生活歸榮耀於上帝。』我都會覺得蠻慚愧的，既然我的罪是用重價所贖回，而我卻仍無法在這世界分別出來，在生活中榮耀上帝，但願主憐憫我，不要輕忽了這樣的恩典，也不要視為理所當然，在每個時刻、每件事情上都能記念您。

「以色列人中頭生的男子比利未人多二百七十三個，必當將他們贖出來。」3:46
"贖出"的說法，很有意思。利未人屬神、沒有土地、代替以色列人做聖工...，看似受束縛，比以色列人擁有的更少，所受的限制更多。但利未人是被"贖"出來的，才是真是自由之身。
今日的我們也是一樣，基督徒看似多了許多"義務"，但事實上，我們是由世界被贖出來的，我們是活在世界但不屬世界的，求神幫助我們，能不受世界的律挾制，而臣服於永生神的律。如神所宣告：「利未人要歸我；我是耶和華。」

Gold and silver being liable to corruption themselves, can free no one from spiritual and bodily death. The Israelites were ransomed, which went towards purchasing the lamb for the daily sacrifice (Ex 30:12-16; Nu 3:44-51). But the Lamb who redeems the spiritual Israelites does so "without money or price."
The Church of the first-born is redeemed from sin and the curse with Christ's precious blood (Mt 20:28; 1Ti 2:6; Tit 2:14; Re 5:9). The idea behind these passages is "substitution," the giving of one for another by way of a ransom or equivalent. The ransom was paid to the righteously incensed Judge, and was accepted as a vicarious satisfaction for our sin by God,
Christ, having borne the curse of our sin, frees from it those who are made God's children by His Spirit. The price paid for man's redemption was the precious blood of Christ. God had purposes of special favor toward His people.
