Solomon's prayer pleased the Lord because he asked for wisdom, knowledge, but not for wealth, riches or honor, long life nor for the death of his enemies. Eventually, the Lord gave him not only wisdom and knowledge but also wealth, riches, and honor, such as no king who was before him ever had and none after he would have.
To the man who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness…(Ec2:26). May I be a person who pleases Him! Prayer in the Lord of Jesus~

「耶和華神啊，現在求你成就向我父大衛所應許的話；因你立我作這民的王，他們如同地上塵沙那樣多。求你賜我智慧聰明，我好在這民前出入；不然，誰能判斷這眾多的民呢？」1:9-10
所羅門王的禱告，以「神的應許」為基礎，以「眾人的利益」為優先考量。「己」越小的禱告，越是蒙主垂聽。
我的禱告清單中，一大半都是為自己，慚愧ㄋㄟ！
