In my view, Moses is a leader full of mercy. No matter how he was grumbled against by Korah, Dathan, Abiram and the rebellious Israelites, what came to his mind was how to save them from the Lord's punishment. He pleased to God (Nu 16: 4) and asked Aaron to make atonement for them (16:26).

When one leader is faced with the insolent followers, he tends to be irritated and attempts to kill all of them. Yet we see Moses turned to the Lord (16:15; 22) and he hoped that the wrath the plague would be reduced to the minimum. He has a tender heart and is a loyal servant to the Lord in his priesthood.

大家平安

以色列人，還真不是普通的健忘（求主幫助我不要如此），米利暗被處罰長大痲瘋的事，好像並沒有刻印在可拉等人的心裡。

可拉等人的控告，包括「擅自專權」、「你們為甚麼自高，超過耶和華的會眾」...，和米利暗與亞倫來挑戰摩西的情況如出一轍，說穿了，應該就是「忌妒」吧。

摩西的反應，還是一樣「交給神來定奪」。

當神發怒要降罰時，摩西、亞倫俯伏在地，祈求神的赦免，摩西、亞倫的行為"證明"了他們的確夠格擔任祭司。

在教會的侍奉，也是如此，若是以為人較容易看見的才是較"尊貴"的，那麼就容易產生忌妒的心理；求神幫助我，無論大小事，無論明顯與否，都能打從心底願意為神及祂的兒女而做。

我們看事情，也不能只看表面，百姓看到可拉等人被滅，認為是摩西、亞倫「殺了耶和華的百姓」。這樣的論斷，又招來禍害，終究又是摩西、亞倫的代求，才免遭滅絕。
