草戊尚土 牧師和各位俱樂部的兄姐，平安：
「要叫他們的心得安慰，因愛心互相聯絡，以致豐豐足足在悟性中有充足的信心，使他們真知神的奧祕，就是基督；」
為什麼基督是奧祕呢？我覺得因為是解釋不出來所以才認為是奧祕，就像是為什麼保羅從一個迫害基督徒的人會變成使徒，或是為什麼和平教會有那麼多原本不認識的人成為主內兄姊，這是很難去理解的，大家所能知道的就是因著耶穌基督的救贖，這在耶穌還未來世之前是不可能發生的，我想上帝這種難以理解的愛也是一個奧祕。

權力讓耶羅波安放大了自己，以為可以當神了。
經過國的分裂，羅波安似乎"好"了一陣子，國勢穩固之後，「羅波安行惡，因他不立定心意尋求耶和華。」12:14
我何嘗不是如此？急難中迫切求告神，問題解決了，就請神坐旁邊休息...，求主幫助我，動靜起坐都邀祂同行。

Rehoboam resorted to army, force to regain the kingdom for himself. He didn't know forceful suppression couldn't win people's heart. The second mistake he made was his abandon of the law of the Lord after his position as king was established and he had become strong (2Ch 12:1).
Jeroboam rebelled against the Lord either. He appointed his own priest for the nigh places and for the goat and calf idols (11:15).
Because they were unfaithful to God, they paid the price. Rehoboam was later aware that he had to humble himself so he was not destroyed by the Lord. Yet never take God's deliverance for granted. We ought to be careful about the evil thoughts that come up to our mind.
