Jeremiah conveyed God's messages faithfully and loyally but was framed up and persecuted by those muddle-headed leaders. Only Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon treated him nicely (Jer 39: 11-12).

But remember God will keep us strong to the end, so that we will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Co 1:8). While we are serving others, we are serving God instead of pleasing people. He will reward those who are devoted and dedicated to Him, but we will not necessarily savor such moment when we are alive.

每次閱讀蔡牧師成長的故事
彷彿時光倒流
也勾起我兒時的 記憶
那個年代大家都很辛苦
單純的信靠 不斷的仰望
相信一生在神的手中

我到高中畢業都不知道補習是怎麼一回事？
因為家裡沒錢給我補習
而且我住鄉下也不方便

蔡牧師真幸運
還有機會補習

十幾年前我也曾幫學生補習
放學後的課後輔導
俗稱《養鴨子》
還有學生會自備摺疊桌椅喔

張昭智老師【是我先生的四叔】才華洋溢
可惜英年早逝
如果還在人世
70幾歲吧
十幾年前四嬸發生車禍
一腳截肢
常常覺得很不捨‧‧‧

Thanks for your comments on this posting.
Your questions were very interesting. My observation was that the main issue here was not the eyesight in the heart, but trying to be 'equal as God'.
As you said, when a child learned to say appreciation or comfort to his dad or mom, though the child couldn't do anything to help parents, but the parents' hearts would feel warm and happiness on knowing that their child growing up enough to show his empathy to the parents.

The mountain of Bashan, now called Mount Hermon, is also named the "gray-haired mountain," the "mountain of snow," or "the eyes of the nation" in Israel. So its geographical significance is great and it forms one of the greatest geographic resources of the area. Compared with the mountain of Bashan, Mount Sion (or Mount Siyon) is like a hill. That's why the mountain of Bashan was green with envy as shown in the following verse:

"Why gaze in envy, O rugged mountains, at the mountain where God chooses to reign, where the Lord himself will dwell forever? (Ps 68:16)"

But God must have His reason for this selection. God's caring touches upon everyone, everywhere regardless of whether it's noble or fertile. Therefore, there seems to be no need for the mountain of Bashan to feel lost or unsatisfied.

在網路上查到的資料提到，這篇詩篇是在大衛要將約櫃搬回城時寫的。神所居住的山是鍚安山，詩篇中描寫著神的約櫃，在熱鬧的迎接隊伍相伴，慢慢地往鍚安山前往。被神選中的鍚安山是何等令人羨慕啊！就如同以色列人，被神選中的子民，是何等尊貴。巴珊山啊！你雖多峰多嶺，也只能斜看我這神所願住的山。這也傳遞出以色列人想對外邦人說，你們有物產又如何，你們地大人多又如何？因為耶和華已選中我們為祂的子民，而且直到永遠。
也不知道這樣想對不對？？*_*
