This story reminded me of my mom's hospitalization in july,2005. During her stay in the hospital, I watched her fighting for her life against her illness. I really hoped I cold have done something fo her, but I could only pray. Although looking after her by her bedside day ad night was tiring, I really thanked God for giving me the chance to take care of her just as she took care of me when I was ill. I really cherished the time being together with her. Gray hair is a crown of splendor (Pr16:31). Blessed aare those whose parents are still around, and blessed are those who cherish the precious time they have with their parents.

草戊尚土 牧師和各位俱樂部的兄姐，平安：
我有個比喻不知恰不恰當，這裡就像一個吃檳榔吃了幾十年的人，當醫生告訴他，如果你再吃下去就會得到口腔癌，然而他還是不聽，繼續吃他的檳榔，過不久他就如醫師所說的得到了口腔癌，醫生為了讓他能活下去便決定切除他的口腔被感染的區域，不管是臉頰或是舌頭，只要已經有癌細胞存在就得切除。
有時我也覺得聖經裡面許多章節裡，上帝似乎過於嚴厲，有些懲罰甚至連小孩都不放過，但是我相信上帝還是憐憫的，如同醫師在醫治一個癌症病患，能夠存活似乎是醫師與病人共同的盼望。

On 4-9-09 Maundy Thursday, our church senior pastor washed our feet. While he was washing my feet, I felt as if Jesus was washing my feet. My tears rained down at that moment because I was deeply touched by Jesus' love for me. It would be great on wedding day, the bridegroom and the bride wash each other's feet, showing their commitment, willingness and love to each other. it would be an everlasting, life long precious memory.
