When David was in the Desert of Judah, he earnestly sought God. He said, "…my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you… (Ps 63:1)"
Only with God's help can our wishes be fulfilled, yet most of the time I get restless and impatient unlike David who could find rest in God alone (Ps 62:1). At the competitive age, I still cannot take my eye off wealth, status, and rights. No wonder I'm afraid God won't reward me according to what I have done.
Since I have done so little, I really need to think about what is worth pursuing in my life.

我想有時候耶穌會用隱喻的方式來闡述真理，但是上帝的智慧遠高於人的智慧，就像是小孩子聽伊索寓言的故事，可能每個小孩對於故事裡的動物和名詞都會有相同的理解，但是對於故事背後要告訴小朋友的意義，卻是每個小朋友都會有不同的看法，有的可能是正確的，有的可能相差甚遠吧。
親愛的主，您說：『人若渴了，可以到我這裡來喝。』請您用您的慈愛來憐憫我，讓我真心渴慕您那永生之泉，因您所賜的水要在他裡頭成為泉源，直湧到永生。請您幫助我，讓我因聖靈的同在而經歷您的慈愛，也見證生命美好的改變。

The song of praise shows that David was in awe of God in many aspects.
He said God was his everlasting shelter. (2Sa 22: 1-20)
He recognized righteous God's acceptance for anyone who repents. (2Sa 22:22-24)
He mentioned God treated the crooked by showing shrewdness. God is the judge, punishing the sinned. (2Sa 22:27)
Sometimes I fall for an illusion that why God should allow me to get stuck in a difficult situation. "He shouldn't have deserted me," I murmur to myself. Due to my narrow-mindedness, I forget to reflect. May I get to know God's grace from every angle. Prayer in the name of Jesus!

這的確很難理解。真吃主的肉、喝主的血嗎？我已經不記得關於這個議題的神學討論內容。不論在當時或是後來，吃主的肉、喝主的血都引起爭議。
耶穌如此說，對聽的人而言，他是活生生的人，在他們面前，要吃這人的肉、喝這人的血，對猶太人，這是違背誡命，對現代人，這是殘忍。
但事情的發展呢～～？最後的晚餐耶穌擘餅說『這是我的身體』，舉杯說『這杯是用我血所立的新約』～～。不知道當初為這吃肉喝血之論爭辯的人，知道門徒吃喝的是這些時，又會說什麼？
將主的話吃進去，如同吃主的肉，行出他的道---這是我可以理解。
將生命為主所用，如同喝主的血，為他所更新---這也是我可以理解的。

If the Jews focused only on the so-called flesh and blood in the material world, they wouldn't be able to understand why Jesus said, "I'm the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. (Joh 6:51) Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him. (Joh 6:56)"
For those who did not take Jesus as the son of God, there always seemed to be a bone to pick in their dialogues with Jesus. Only when they opened their mind could they realize the road to eternity was not that far.
