"Don't be afraid. Just believe" (Mark 5:36) is the key message conveyed through these stories. Out of love and concern, Jesus restores the demon-possessed man, raises a dead girl and heals a sick woman. He doesn't want anything in return but merely hopes they can testify what they have experienced to others (5:19). Thus, as long as we stay with the Lord, peace will be with us and each of us can be a testimony of miracles.
