Isaiah 53 was one of the most favorite biblical chapters to me. The description about this suffering servant was so specific and vivid to be so easily associated with what happened to Jesus while he was crucified around 700 years later.

Yeah, me and my wife went to enjoy the current most popular Taiwan movie, Sea Corner No. 7.
In the movie I saw many, many questions left for the audience to exercise their imagination and creativity.
Questioning was great way of teaching and learning.

We must understood the custom and culture of biblical times before we could appreciate the gentleness and kindness of Boas towards Ruth.
What a gentleman Boas was! Hopefully all the brothers in HoPing church could learn from Boas the precious lesson of how to treat our sisters with respect and protection.

草戊尚土 牧師，平安：
記得牧師曾經說過：如果只能用一個字來描述上帝，這個字應該就是『愛』。
在今天的經文裡面，天父很慈祥的告訴我們，累了的可以休息，有事的可以禱告，虔誠的可以平安，公義的可以彰顯，謙卑可以甦醒，傷心的可以安慰。但是重要的在最後的章節：『惟獨惡人，好像翻騰的海，不得平靜；其中的水常湧出污穢和淤泥來。我的神說：惡人必不得平安！』
我想這裡的愛並不是溺愛，而是公義的愛。
親愛的阿爸天父，謝謝您在我們享受恩典時仍能保守自己的良善，在我敵人面前，您為我擺設筵席，讓我享受您的恩惠慈愛，不叫我們遇見試探，救我們脫離凶惡。直到永遠。感謝主。

經文: 約伯記 39:17 因為神使他沒有智慧，也未將悟性賜給他。

默想: 親愛的主！求你將悟性與智慧賞賜給我，使我能夠從你所創造的宇宙中看出你奇妙的作為而敬拜你。
`
題目: 約伯一直要詢問耶和華他無辜受苦的緣由，上帝卻拿動物學來考問約伯，你對此有何感想呢？
草戊尚土 牧師，平安：
上帝的奧祕不只是藏在苦難之中，舉目所見，飛鳥禽獸的本能，自然生態的平衡，宇宙萬物的規律，再聰明的人類也無法創造出其中最小的一件，就如我們可以做出超級電腦，但是卻做不出一隻百分之百的小螞蟻。
上帝在這裡可能想藉由動物天生的本性來告訴約伯，這些其實都是上帝所設計的，然而人也是 祂所創造的，祂對每個人都有計畫，從過去的成就，現在的受苦，到未來的一切，上帝都會有 祂的安排。
但願主憐憫我，讓我能明白您對我的計畫，在您的指導下能扮演好每個角色。
