It takes pains to live without the directions of the Lord, according to my personal experiences. When I ever tried to make decisions on my own, I would definitely encounter obstacles and felt no confidence in myself. I'm still learning how to involve praying in my daily life. Probably this is a good opportunity for me to get closer to Him.

God's grace and blessings accompany throughout our lives. Thus, our obedience toward Him should not change no matter what happens or no matter where we are. I will always show gratitude for what I have because everything is from Him.

It's impossible to be as pure as well as perfect as the Lord. We sometimes may think a sin or crime is too minor to be counted, but in fact I believe everything is supervised by God. May I be alert enough to pay attention to any possible or likely mistake that I would make in my daily life so that I won't offend God too much! Prayer in the name of Jesus~

We humans cannot fully understand God's will, and what we can do is submit ourselves to Him. Yet, stubborn and vulnerable as we are, oftentimes we tend to act in our own way. Confronted with the situation where I am not able to stay in my comfort zone anymore, I will turn to friends or the elderly who are spiritually mature for advice.

或許，過約旦河的時候，也許還有人不信，一直走一直罵。 。
但他們仍然過了河。現在繞城卻不一樣，耶和華命令他們不能出聲，一句話都不能出口，不然城牆就不會塌陷了。所以，這是一個憑信心，完全順服的攻城法，是耶和華上帝要以色列民在以後的南征北伐所要學習的。
求主幫助我們，能夠靠主的恩典，將我們生活中的「當滅之物」（חֵרֶם, חֵרֶם [cherem），那些不討神喜悅的東西，從被「分別為聖」的東西中，完全地除去。那些是被「分別為聖」的，屬神的，那些是「當滅之物」，是不討神喜悅的？求主光照，把我們心中一切攔阻我們與神相交的「罪惡」，完全清除乾淨，遵守主命令，彼此相愛，在愛的團契裡，彼此相交，行在光明中，作神寶貴的兒女。上帝要我們「憑信心」，「全然順服」，活出基督的生命來，靠基督作我們的主，來打屬靈的爭戰，在基督裡得真正的安息。

Jesus has made the covenant with us, freeing us from the fear of death. I do feel the hope and joy of life. Yet, I remind myself never to merely enjoy the privilege from the Lord. I have to keep in mind the grace of rebirth and the importance of living a and righteous life with a pure heart.

這段經文中沒有指出為何以色列人應當受割禮。不過，比較第5∼6節和第8節經文，便可看出：第8節提到行割禮的順服；而第5∼6節內，卻指相反的狀況，即第一代以色列人在曠野流浪四十年，不順服上帝與死的結局：這是因為--- (1) 他們沒有聽從耶和華的話；(2) 他們沒有得到耶和華起誓應許給他們列祖的地； (3) 他們沒有看見流奶與蜜之地。 所以，上帝用割禮與第二代的以色列民立了新的約，與上帝建立個人的盟誓關係, 要他們聽從、遵行、謹守耶和華的話。
同樣地，今天耶穌基督，作了父神和我們之間的中保，在十字架上受死贖了我們所犯的罪過。感謝神！藉著祂的血所立的新約，讓我們能夠勝過死亡的權勢，每一天與主同行，感受到主基督在我裡面復活的新生命、盼望與喜樂，叫我們蒙召的人得著所應許永遠的產業。
