古時的女人真的好沒地位喔！羅德會拿女兒當交換條件，只是把女兒當財產一部份，在現在看起來這種事很不可思議，換成古時的角度看，他寧可犧牲自己寶貴的財產，去保護天使。可以這樣說嗎？

谷哥說羅得的故事是一個不好的見證，為了要保護那兩個天使寧可將自己的親身女兒交給暴民去蹂躝，他告訴女婿即將有災難來臨，卻也換來嘲笑，最後他女兒甚至與他發生了關係而懷孕生子。
羅得，這位亞伯拉罕視同兒子的姪子，也是他與耶和華討價還價後所定義的十個義人之一，他真的有那麼糟嗎？
在這裡羅得身處的環境是一個十分邪惡的地方，到處都充滿著淫亂暴戾之氣，他能冒著生命危險來維護真理或許便是我們值得學習的地方，我們能在混亂的社會中分辨出真理嗎？即使我們知道這是真理，但是能有智慧來堅持這樣的真理嗎？或許在攸關自己升遷、利益或是慾望時，我也會像那些所多瑪城的百姓尋不著出路，但願主也能有天使來憐憫我，伸出手來拉住我，頭也不回的離開那城。

不過就算眼前沒有這樣的團體，鼓勵你寫信給牧師，牧師們應該會幫你想辦法，找到適合陪伴你的弟兄姐妹。

給樓上的，你很有勇氣的將意見留下，你跨出一步了。我覺得你需要的不只是蔡牧師的聆聽，你更需要有一個團體的支持與聆聽。
不過就算眼前沒有這樣的團體，鼓勵你寫信給牧師，牧師們應該會幫你想辦法，找到適合陪伴你的弟兄姐妹。

關於今天講道所提到『禱告會』人數過少的問題，我想不知道能否在教會網站設立一個『連線禱告會』，以方便住在國外或是較遠的兄姐也能參與，不過這裡好像會牽涉到『儀式』的問題，有些地方我也不大清楚，希望能有方法克服。

Concerning the last day of our life, there was an interesting story about Mendel, who discovered the laws of heredity. Mendel discovered such laws by observing the pea. Someone asked Mendel what he would do if Jesus Christ would come tomorrow, and his answer was I would observe the pea. Hopefully we could live our daily life AS IF that Jesus Christ would come today or tomorrow. Daily living in the last day would be the best preparation to face the last day...

The setting up of the city of refuge was very interesting. It might also symbolize Jesus Christ. He was our refuge.
All legal system would differentiate between deliberation murder and accidental killing. The problem was how to find out the inner motivation of the killer. Jesus Christ also emphasized the importance of our inner motivation (Matthew 5:23, 28)

The empty seat was often used to deal with some inner desire, when the family experienced a bereavement, or Jewish family in their new year festival still kept an empty seat to expect the coming of Elijah. (Mal 4:5)

這段經文不太懂，因為卯同學提到：『如果你還有一天的生命，你想要做什麼事呢？』讓我有些發想："如果知道明天是最後一天，是種幸運"，因為死亡雖可怕，但未知更可怕，如果已知死亡，未來就沒有未知，所以有人選擇盡情享樂，而我應該是會選擇禱告，求神讓認識的人都能上天堂吧！？
