草戊尚土 牧師和各位俱樂部的兄姐，平安：
首先，我想先感謝 草戊尚土 牧師 在百忙之中仍花那麼多時間來回應我們的看法，讓我從中收穫良多，真是很感謝，也但願天父阿爸保守您的平安。
『視而不見』，自以為是的那雙眼已經完全取代了鼻子上的那雙眼，所以看到再多的神蹟也無法改變法老的心意。
其實，我有時也會這樣，看到該做的事不想去做，看到不對的事不敢去糾正，看到別人受苦不會去關心，看到自己做錯卻也不想承認。
『視而不見』，讓我自己可以看不見每件事，但是 神卻又要讓我逐一看見。
親愛的主，感謝您給了我看見的恩典，但是我卻常常選擇看不見，但願您憐憫我，讓我能走到西羅亞的池子，用您的話語洗淨我的雙眼，讓您改變我的生命，讓我能重新看見這個世界。

In the shivering cold weather reding your stories of burning buddha or cross to have some warmth was quite intriguing to me...

What a concise compare and contrast between God and Idol...
Dear Mou, Peng An,
Yeah, God created Man, and Man created Idol....but treated his humanly created Idol as God....
But it was very difficult for us to worship the true God. As all we could do was to worship what we believed as God, which was inevitably our psychological perception anc concept of God... which, by our definition, was idol....

Thank you very much for your sharing. May the Lord bless you as you start to step into this journey of faith.
This was a narrow path, and the road was not even or easy, but it would be worthy of our sweat and effort... and very happy to have some spiritual friends who could share with us this journey...

Idolization was a human shared tendency... whether Christian or others....
The worst idol was not cross or buddha sculpture... but our selves, our families, our fans.....

What a concise compare and contrast between God and Idol...

Yeah, God created Man, and Man created Idol....but treated his humanly created Idol as God....
But it was very difficult for us to worship the true God. As all we could do was to worship what we believed as God, which was inevitably our psychological perception anc concept of God... which, by our definition, was idol....

Dear All, Peng An,
Psalm 23 was short, but had great impact on the spiritual lives of many people of all generations.
The power of a poem was so great. The images used in this psalm changed so fast... from his relationship with God to enjoy a carefree and want free life...to the seren scenery of the green pasture and the calm creekside...from walking on the path of righteousness to enjoy the spiritual refreshness... then suddenly the whole picture was changed to that of horror and threat of death.... the valley of the shadow of death... then a deeper experience of the presence of God....Such presence of God would be more powerful than the same presence of God when the environment was so serene and peaceful.... then the most extreme contrast of serving banquet in the face of the enemies... what an unimaginable contrast... the aointing of the head and the filling to the brim of the cups of blessing... all happened in the face of the enemy... finished up by eternal destiny of worship and harmony with our God... forever...

Thank you very much for your hermeneutic to apply such principle to current congregant pastor relationship. But the cutting of the skirt of the robe would remind Saul of his cruelty and error. Please cut my skirt to remind me of my error.... Thanks.

It was interesting that you would interpret the cutting of the skirt as from the flesh of David. Others would interpret it as a wisdom or prudence....

Yeah, not all chances of revenge coming from God would mean that we could do it.... We still needed to pray and discern what would truely bring honor and glory to our God...

Google was our good friend who could bring us many information from around the world. I would agree that humility and repentance were two very important virtues...
God's predestination and human freedom of choice seemed to interact with each other in this passage....

We had two sets of eyes, one pair of external eyes which help us to see the outside world created by God. Another set of eye was internal eye which help us to interpret the sights we saw in the outside world. Usually the inside eye would determine what our outside eyes would and could see.
We had a saying, Seeing without perceiving. Shih Er Pu Chian. (視而不見). Our presumption and preoccupation would definitely impact on our vision.
