我個人覺得聖殿對以色列人來說，扮演著"看得見神"的角色。聖殿不是神，只是讓人較具體地感受到神的同在。
神所要的是「遵行我一切所吩咐你的，謹守我的律例典章」，當人「轉去丟棄我指示你們的律例誡命，去事奉敬拜別神」時，神不惜「我為己名所分別為聖的殿也必捨棄不顧，使他在萬民中作笑談，被譏誚。」
求神幫助我，所建造的不是冠冕堂皇的外貌，而是敬畏順從神的內在。

The temple is the place where the king and all the people offered sacrifices before the Lord. All the king and all the people dedicated the temple of God (2Ch 7:4-5).
Solomon and his people could assemble in the temple to experience the good things the Lord had done to them. Thus, the temple functioned religiously and spiritually at that time.

Paul prayed for the Philippians: that your love may around more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless…, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ…(Php 1:9-11).
He emphasized the importance of distinguishing good from evil so that Philippians would not fall away. Besides, he stressed living by the Spirit. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Ga 5:22-23). This way, being conceited, provoking and envying each other can be prevented.

It seems that the Israelites were required to make offerings to the Lord throughout a year. Besides daily and monthly offerings, on the Sabbath day, on the Passover, and on the day of firstfruits, offerings were strictly prescribed through Moses by the Lord.
Though we don't need to follow suit in modern times, we still have to note the meaning of these offerings and sacrifices. The Lord is pleased with our full submission. "To obey is better than sacrifice…" (1Sa 15:22).
"Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but my ears you have pierced, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not require" (Ps 40:6). May I not be the one who hides His righteousness or conceals His love and His truth~

The supremacy of Christ is revealed in Col (1:15-17): He is…the firstborn over all creation…He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
Wisdom, here is Christ, in whom are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge is also mentioned in Col 2:2-3.
That's why we ought to understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of Him for He gives wisdom, and from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.

每日：早晨和黃昏各一隻沒有殘疾、一歲的公羊羔 加上細面、油以及醇酒。
安息日：兩隻沒有殘疾、一歲的公羊羔 加上細面和油。
月朔日：將兩隻公牛犢，一隻公綿羊，七隻沒有殘疾、一歲的公羊羔 加上細面、油以及醇酒；外加一隻公山羊為贖罪祭。
逾越節：每日公牛犢兩隻，公綿羊一隻，一歲的公羊羔七隻加上細面和油；外加一隻公山羊為贖罪祭。一連七日。

起先覺得，怎麼這麼多祭得獻？不行一次獻多一點來相抵嗎？現在覺得，神訂下不同日期、節期、性質獻祭的律例，應該是為了讓以色列百姓（我們）時時記得與主連結。
