Daniel turned to the Lord and pleaded with him in prayer and petition, in fasting, and in sackcloth and ashes. He also honestly reflected on himself in full submission and obedience.
He used "we" in his prayer (Da 9: 3-27). Under adverse situations, we tend to blame others instead of mirroring ourselves. Daniel confessed his own sin, asking for mercy from the Lord.
God then answered his prayer: "As soon as you began to pray, an answer was given, which I have come to tell you, for you are highly esteemed…" (Da 9:23). Daniel's prayer gave us confidence that God is merciful. He is listening to us all the time.

豐盛的當中會有敗壞的種子，我想是因為起了驕傲的心，當心裡驕傲就有可能忘了上帝，忘了為他付出的人；或許所羅門是有智慧，但是似乎有智慧的人也會驕傲吧。

When the words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise. The tongue of the righteous is choice silver, but the heart of the wicked is of little value. The lips of the righteous nourish many, but fools die for lack of judgment. (Pr 10: 19-21)
So we have to learn to say the right words at the right time. May God give me lips of the discerning so that I can establish sense of judgment. Prayer in the name of Jesus Christ!

責備的對象：智慧人。（不要責備褻慢人，恐怕他恨你；要責備智慧人，他必愛你。）
話語的內容：生命的泉源、以愛遮掩一切過錯、教養多人、滋生智慧、令人喜悅...。
耶穌說：「入口的（食物）不能污穢人，出口的（話語）乃能污穢人。」太15:11
求神幫助我，不要輕忽話語的力量（對人的影響），求神潔淨我的心，好讓我「心裡想的」與「口裡說的」都蒙主悅納。

"The king must not acquire great numbers of horses for himself…He must not take many wives, or his heart will be led astray. He must not accumulate large amounts of silver and gold" (De 17: 16-17).
If the palace of Solomon became more luxurious, the higher taxes would be claimed on his people. The restless people might have staged a revolution, leading to the corruption of the kingdom. Wealth diverts people's attention away from the Lord. Be cautious!

所羅門雖聽求得智慧聰明聽判解決百姓的爭端，卻未能以此智慧聽判榮華之後的苦聲解決百姓的重擔。
個人以為原因出於所羅門有如同羅得般，愛妻妾的心過於愛神的心，導致逐漸挪移帳棚，自己雖然倖免，卻致使整個王國敗壞，埋下分裂的導火線。
