I like your parable. The picture you mentioned is named, "The wanderer above the sea of fog". This is impressionism drawing, emphasizing the impression or impact upon the viewer. The sea of fog itself is full of ambiguity and uncertainty. The misty fog seems so real, yet still remains so unreal. The wanderer is the one without a destiny or direction in his life.

I would also raise my both hands to agree with your personal struggle and I would also confess with you my inadequacy to face such severe challenge and test in my life.

We can only imagine the possible motivation or reason that God might have to allow such cruel misfortunes to fall upon Job's head and shoulders and in such a compact and heavy way.....
