In this parable, the owner of the vineyard might be the Lord, tenants the religious leaders, servants the prophets that God sent to Israel to condemn the leaders'sin, and the son of the owner the Jesus.

"The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone." (Lu 19: 17) Those who turned down Jesus would undergo trial and punishment. Although Jesus gave such a clear warning, those rebels did not take it seriously and still wanted to capture Him right away.

May God keep trimming me to be one who does according to what is in His heart and mind. I'd like to be a useful pottery instead of the capstone.
