Regarding Ahab, Zedekiah, and Shemaiah's prophesying lies, Jeremiah always admonished the Israelites not to listen to them. Yet, the words of false prophets that brought about short-term consolation fogged the Israelites. Jeremiah must have been very downcast about the feedback he received, but he had no choice but to keep conveying messages in the name of the Lord.

"You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you," declares the Lord. (Jer 29: 13-14)" May I earnestly read the Lord's words and He be sought by me. Otherwise, I won't be able to be aware of the messages from a real prophet.
