Jesus knew the Samaritan woman's love affairs, which forced her to switch to another topic (Joh 4: 20-24). The woman must have felt restless, but with the living water from God, she decided to stand as testimony (Joh 4:39), and thus many disciples rejoined Jesus.

Sometimes we might feel hesitated to spread gospel since we don't think we're psychologically ready or worth playing this role. Yet despite of the fact that we belittle ourselves once in a while, Jesus has changed us. Not being afraid of being ridiculed, we should seize every opportunity to share with others how we experience those changes and who changes us.
