God never promises us a smooth life, so what counts when we undergo trials is our faith in Him. Besides, keep praying and praising.

"If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened; but God has surely listened and heard my voice in prayer. (Ps 66:18-19)"

With the belief that God would never reject our prayer or withhold his love from us as long as we turn back from sin, our courage is sure to be strengthened to face all the difficulties in life.
