Moab had been at rest from youth and worshiped Chemosh and her most unbearable sin is her overweening pride, conceit, arrogance, and the haughtiness of her heart. An arrogant person tends to look down upon others.

God said to us, "…Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you" (Ro 12:3). Besides, pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall (Pr 16:18).

May my jar never be emptied and my jugs never be smashed by God. Prayer in the name of Jesus! Amen~
