"The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles"(Ac 10:45).

Cornelius and Peter were of different backgrounds. Cornelius was a rich soldier and a Gentile. Peter was a Jewish fisherman and became a preacher. They learned from each other an important lesson. Cornelius needed the gospel from Peter to know that he could be saved. Peter realized the Gentiles were involved in God's plan.

We should not set boundaries for spreading the gospel. Sometimes we have to know God's plan when we work with other believers.
