"…in the seventh year the land is to have a Sabbath of rest, a Sabbath to the Lord….The land is to have a year of rest…" (Le 25:107). Just as the Lord wants us to take a rest on Sunday so that we will be charged and refreshed again, the land is able to regain its productivity after a good rest.

Most of all, the Lord hopes that His people can remember He is the one who provides whatever they need. May I have such strong confidence in Him and give myself a big break on Sundays!
