While Jesus was teaching in the temple courts explaining the psalm, He said Messiah is greater than the greatest king David (Mr 12: 35-37). Peter also used the psalm to prove Jesus is Messiah, exalted to the right hand of God (Ac 2: 32-35). The Old Testament and the New Testament clearly put that Jesus is the Lord. Thus, we cannot say He is simply a great teacher.
