Ammon and Tyre were judged because they were indifferent when the Lord's sanctuary was desecrated, the land of Israel was laid waste, and the people of Judah were exiled.

The tone of "Aha!..." (Eze 25:3; 26:2) was detested since God hates pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech (Pr 8:13). It is definitely true that pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall (Pr 16:18).
