The Israelites who were ceremonially unclean on account of a dead body turned to Moses and Aaron for a solution for not being able to celebrate the Passover. Moses wisely asked for the Lord's commands concerning this issue.

The Lord did not relax His requirements for the celebration of Passover, but allowed one-month leeway. We can learn that the Lord's laws remain clear and just and we also witness Moses's wisdom in dealing with the matter.
