When David's spirit grows faint within himself, he eagerly pleads to the Lord lest his spirit fail. So he hopes that the Lord can answer him quickly without hiding His face from him.

When I am in deep loss, the Lord is the first one I turn to. I'm like David, who wishes the Lord to show him the way, rescue him from enemies, and teach him to do His will. Absolute obedience not only releases our burden but also allows us to be sheltered in His unfailing love.
