d. He was a man of prayer (Jos 10:9-14).
e. He was a man who put God first (De 27-28).

Moses had these qualities as well and he trusted Joshua as God trusted him. To successfully introduce Joshua to his people, he led Joshua to stand in front of the pries and the whole assembly. This act revealed his loyalty and selflessness.
