What impressed me the most is Daniel's strong belief in the Lord. He said, "…My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight. Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, O king"(Da 6:21-22).

To claim one's innocence in the Lord's sight is not easy. Daniel's spiritual life is worth my learning. How much courage it required to stick to the habit of praying three times a day under the severe decree published!
