These verses tell us a Christian cannot be freed from sin and temptation either (Ro 7:22-25). Satan has been influencing our relationship with the Lord, so we are making decisions out of good or out of evil all the time.

"I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate" (7:15). Thus, it is less likely to resist sin and temptation with our own strength and willingness. A Christian grows in a competition that requires a lot of training, aiming to get a crown that will last forever. May the Lord help me hang on! Prayer in the name of Jesus.
