In the last four parables (Nu 24:15-24) Balaam partly reveals the future of Israel and other nations: they are all to be destroyed. At last, Balaam is back again in his own sphere denouncing others and predicting awful disasters. To obtain wealth and honor, Balaam cursed Israel, but could only bless them. He ended up allying himself with hell. We can learn that the Lord is unchangeable and the Most High.
