In the face of death, Jesus turned to pray. Yet He frankly conveyed, "My soul is very sorrowful, even to death…"(Mr 14:34). Peace gave Him strength because He followed His Dad's will: "Father, all things are possible to thee; remove this cup from me; yet not what I will, but what thou wilt" (14:36).

Even when He was about to die, He still remembered to tell His disciples, "Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak" (14:38). Grief did not overwhelm Jesus but He overcame it.
