Dear All, Peng An,
Among the different interpretations, I would opt to accept the interpretation that the builders were the religous leaders of Israel people. They rejected Jesus, even to the degree of crucifying Him and killed Him on the cross. But God rose Him from death, and set Him as the corner stone of God's salvation, to both Israelites and Gentiles.
