The author feels the Lord's love endures forever in that He will answer his cry of anguish and set him free (Ps 118:5). Moreover, when confronted with enemies, the author takes refuge in the Lord (118:8).

The Lord's right hand, lifted high, can do mighty things for whoever believes in Him. The author reminds me again that it's better to trust in the Lord than to trust in man. That's why I should never forget to give thanks to Him, for his love endures forever.
