God cares more about the motive behind each religious ritual. As long as we hold a pious attitude toward Him, He is willing to listen to us. He is merciful so either sacrifice or burnt offerings are not His main concern. Devoted love and loyalty toward Him weighs more strongly than how the religious ritual is performed.
