The Lord smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart, "Never again will I curse the ground because of man, everything every inclination of his heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done"(Ge 8:21).

Though I know that the Lord's graciousness derives not from a well-prepared offering by the Noah but out of His love and compassion, I still want to thank Noah for his reverent attitude toward the ceremony. When the world was going corrupt, he remained a righteous follower of the Lord. He was the light in the dark then.
