Jesus loved Martha, her sister and Lazarus, yet when he heard that Lazarus was sick, he wasn't anxious to save him but stayed where he was two more days instead. This lukewarm reaction might show that he would not have given his helping hand.

However, God will meet all our needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus (Php 4:19). Procrastination might be one part of His plan. All we have to do is wait for His arrangements. Those who stand firm to the end will be saved (Mt 24:13). In all our ways acknowledge Him, and He will make our paths straight (Pr 3:6).
