否認、禁止慾望，似乎無法真正使人"清心"，反而導致更多隱藏的犯罪、傷害更多人。不如承認、接受神造人時所賦與的需要，按著神的命令、靠著主的能力來行。
保羅顯然並不贊成「禁止嫁娶，又禁戒食物」(4:3)，而是主張「凡神所造的物都是好的，若感謝著領受，就沒有一樣可棄的」(4:4)。

It is not easy to learn the timing about the obedience or negotiation for God's will. However, God still can listen our problems if we cannot understand HIM. For me, I still cannot have very close relationship with God. So, it becomes very hard to understand HIS promised land. What I only know is to thanks for HIM, HE already gave me so much. 為什麼「以色列人要各守各祖宗支派的產業」這樣重要呢？不太明白。
會不會是像舊約中的其他律例一般，是為了保護以色列百性？大家遵守界限，避免搶奪、貪盜，保護弱勢（Ex.路得）。

真是悲哀，神祝福越多，以色列百姓就造更多的偶像，以致神不得不"剝奪"好讓他們清醒。求主幫助我，莫以祝福代替神，而是要抓住賜福的主。

"A man's heart devises his way: but the LORD directs his steps."
I think the problem is the difference between free will of humanity and directed will of Lord. Frankly, it is not easy to understand what is Lord's will for me. However, I believe Lord will direct me step by step. May Lord give me the light in every minute and second to help me keep walking in HIS way.

By the mercy and truth of God in Jesus Christ, the sins of believers are taken away, and the power of sin is broken. On the other hand, sinners cannot escape God's judgments.
Only God knows what is best for us in our lifetime. Everything on earth is a matter of choices. The choice of ours is guided by God's wisdom and truth. The greatest blessing is that we have the Lord as our counselor, comforter, and helper.

"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory" (1 Tim. 3:16).
Jesus Christ is a mystery. Sometimes, I still cannot believe I could have such opportunity to rebuild the relationship with God by Jesue Christ. The problem is what is my attitdue to think about this mystery. Do I always thanks God for this mystery? Do I always think about Jesus Chris in my daily living? Do I honor Jesus Christ in my behavior and words? May Lord help me to fully understand this mystery.

上帝的救恩，不會因為個人的無心之過而讓整件事像沒發生過一樣，犯罪者仍需為自己所做的付上代價，在逃城中犯罪者須放棄以往生活地或方式重新過日子，而受害者的家人需給他們一個公道-審判、懲戒罪人。

He is merciful so either sacrifice or burnt offerings are not His main concern. Devoted love and loyalty toward Him weighs more strongly than how the religious ritual is performed.

We both raised our voice when we were arguing, which no doubt results in intense relationship between us. I'm surprised that she apologized to me today since she is much more senior to me. She quoted this verse in her apology so these words seem pretty striking to me.
I wish to have a heart of the righteous for "it weighs its answers, but the mouth of the wicked gushes evil"(15:28). It does take wisdom in communicating with others.

In the situation against the odds, he proclaimed a fast for all Judah. He led his people to stand in the presence before the temple that bears His name. When calamity came upon him and his people, whether the sword of judgment, or plague or famine, he always remembered to give thanks to the Lord for His love endures forever.

約沙法王「引導民歸向耶和華─他們列祖的神」、「囑咐他們(官長祭司們)說：『你們當敬畏耶和華，忠心誠實辦事』」、遭難時「定意尋求耶和華，在猶大全地宣告禁食」、戰爭前及戰爭後「用極大的聲音讚美耶和華以色列的神」。
約沙法真是有心地引領百姓歸向神，不是只有表面，而是以身作則。強敵壓境之際，王禱告說：「我們無力抵擋這來攻擊我們的大軍，我們也不知道怎樣行」，百姓豈不嚇破膽？但王接著說：「我們的眼目單仰望你(神)」。
約沙法與父親亞撒同樣遭遇強敵，亞撒轉向亞蘭王求助，硬是撇棄曾幫助他的神，約沙法不只自己倚靠神，還帶著百姓俯伏在神面前，此舉真是極其謙卑的表現。
還有一點，「約沙法既與民商議了，就設立歌唱的人，頌讚耶和華...」(20:21)，表示約沙法是一個尊重百姓的王。

"終於"又看到一個好王了。約沙法「高興遵行耶和華的道」(17:6)，也蒙神大大的賜福，最棒的是，不僅他個人願意遵守神的誡命，他更是盡到王的使命...
「他作王第三年，就差遣臣子便亥伊勒、俄巴底、撒迦利雅、拿坦業、米該亞往猶大各城去教訓百姓。...他們帶著耶和華的律法書，走遍猶大各城教訓百姓。」(17:7-8)
約沙法與亞哈結親，可能多少有一些政治考量，但卻是正港的「信與不信同負一軛」，約沙法顯然習慣先詢問神，所以要求亞哈：「請你先求問耶和華。」(18:4)
約沙法應該有感到不平安，否則不會在聽了四百位"樣版"先知的"必勝"預言後，還想繼續求問別的先知。在聽米該雅預言的過程中，更顯出亞哈的惡劣、約沙法的厚道。
亞哈也不是全然不信，臨上戰場還故意不穿王服，竟然還壞心腸的叫約沙法穿。結果在戰場上「有一人隨便開弓」(18:33)，就應驗了神藉先知所說的話。至於約沙法，若非神特意保護，恐怕也是凶多吉少。
果然，約沙法返國後就挨神的罵了。
由這場戰事，看到約沙法把自己陷在「身不由己」的景況當中，因為是親家又已經承諾相挺，即使（或許）心裡相信先知米該雅的預言，也不得不硬著頭皮上戰場，果然還是被神責備：「你豈當幫助惡人，愛那恨惡耶和華的人呢？」(19:2)
求主幫助我，在與未信基督的朋友互動時，仍能堅守原則、仍能勇敢地順服聖靈的引導。

The lying spirit is able to entice an evil mind. Jehoshaphat didn't do what pleased the Lord, but while he was in a critical situation, he called cried out for help and the Lord helped him. God's helping hand is given to whoever is needed.

喜樂的原由是主，禱告的對象是主，謝恩的對象是主。「神在基督耶穌裡向你們所定的旨意」就是要我們時刻與祂同行。

亞倫大祭司身為宗教領袖，順應民意而違背神的旨意，甚至還牽拖惹惱了摩西，做出令神不喜悅的是，以至於亞倫與摩西率領的團隊，最終僅有迦勒2人得進迦南。

"But you—your bodies will fall in this desert. Your children will be shepherds here for forty years, suffering for your unfaithfulness, …"(Nu 14:32-33). The Lord punished the Israelites in the least pleasant way—having them wonder in the desert.
But forty year later, the Lord gave them a chance and they were led by Aaron to come out of Egypt. Aaron died on the first day of the fifth month of the fortieth year after the Israelites arrived at a critical stage of their journey. His death was destined and his fulfillment of the mission indeed had glorified the Lord.

亞倫與摩西不同，出埃及前已經為奴逾80年，所受教育應該就在家裡，但他能成為摩西的"發言人"一起進入埃及皇宮與法老正面交鋒。
亞倫做了金牛讀，可是他被神接納繼續服侍；亞倫與米利暗站在一起抗議摩西，米利暗長了大痲瘋，亞倫沒事。亞倫一定有特別之處！
亞倫被膏抹為祭司，且世代為祭司【請參讀蔡牧師《與神相會》第10-13章】，這是何等的恩典！

Somteime, it is not easy to follow God's call. Especially, when God want you to do someting you don't want to do. However, I think it is a critical timing to have a very close relationship with God. May God give me such courage to do such thing and rebuild such relationship.

父母對子女所說的話影響甚鉅，今早今日新聞報導-{父母過於溺愛 河南青年懶到餓死}，文中指出楊鎖的父母總告訴他，「你到旁邊玩吧，別累壞了。」漸漸養成楊鎖茶來伸手飯來張口的習慣，長大成人後變本加厲，不工作而淪為乞丐四處要飯，即使別人給他的肉跟菜，他也懶得煮來吃。結果，這自小聽從父母在愛中長大的年輕人，最後竟然是餓死、凍死在家中。
顯然，懶惰的楊鎖不是智慧之子，終其一生無所得；而楊鎖的父母，在孩童時期若能提供智慧的法則，今日的揚鎖應是聰明英俊具有生命影響力的年輕人。
智慧從何而來?敬畏耶和華的，就是智慧的開端，智慧人的法則(指教）是生命的泉源，可以使人離開死亡的網羅。
求主幫我們為人父母的做智慧子聽父親(上帝)的教訓；疼愛自己的兒子，隨時管教。
求主幫助我們的孩子，做智慧子聽父母及上帝的教訓，與智慧人同行，謹慎言行，慇勤學習阿們。

「耶和華初次與何西阿說話，對他說：『你去娶淫婦為妻，也收那從淫亂所生的兒女；因為這地大行淫亂，離棄耶和華。』」1:2
何西阿初次聽到神的話，就要他去娶淫婦為妻，何西阿竟然沒跑掉？反而順服地照神的話去做。
可見，在神對何西阿說話之前，何西阿已經預備好：「無論神說甚麼，我都願意遵行。」
很佩服何西阿以及所有在神面前「領受命令就去行」的忠心僕人，主必記念。

先知需要一直體認到這是使命！不斷告訴自己這是在執行上帝的任務！而非一般所謂「自己的人生」。否則，若只在橫斷面看自己，會有對自己相當不滿意的情緒與看法；甚至會覺得上帝不公平、甚而離棄上帝。
人很容易被惡者欺騙，將上帝的任務當成被上帝遺棄、或是自己是個不好的人。參孫起初會喜歡非利士人，是因為上帝要他執行拯救以色列人的使命(士14:1-4)，但是是否這種喜歡非利士女子的傾向繼續發展，所以他後來愛上大利拉、走向悲劇？
人真的要儆醒，先知更小心不可被慣性所控制。求主憐憫我們！

人很容易被惡者欺騙，將上帝的任務當成被上帝遺棄、或是自己是個不好的人。參孫起初會喜歡非利士人，是因為上帝要他執行拯救以色列人的使命(士14:1-4)，但是是否這種喜歡非利士女子的傾向繼續發展，所以他後來愛上大利拉、走向悲劇？
人真的要儆醒，先知更小心不可被慣性所控制。求主憐憫我們！

Pro13:24 He who keeps back his rod is unkind to his son: the loving father gives punishment with care.
Be frankly, I am not good at teaching child. But, I knew sometiming should be very clear without any gray area. If my daughter's behavior violates those rules, I will be very angry and punish her with care. I think it is necessary to correct her bad behavior rahter than ignore it. Ignorance cannot solve problem, to face problem with serious attitude is good for child.

Familiarity breeds contempt. A child tends to rebuke his father because he is not wise enough and does not heed his instruction (Pr 13:1).
Spare the rod; spoil the child. He who spares he rod hates his son, but he who loves him is careful to discipline him (13:24).
The son has to learn to be humble and the father needs to work out a proper way to discipline his son. After all, "he who ignores discipline comes to poverty and shame, but whoever heeds correction is honored" (13:18).
It takes wisdom to deal with the complex relationship between the father and the son. May I be equipped with infinite patience to listen to my father's words~

Someone told me the race of Christian faith is not a 100-meter dash, it is a marathon. If you want to win the race, you cannot only do well in the first 100 meters. I think it is not easy to be a good Christian by abandon idol, return to God and serve God. For me, many idols (ex. money, clothes, internet, reading,…) may make me ignore the relationship with God. Moreover, I also cannot donate myself to serve God. Someone told me to be a good Christian in your daily life which can make others to believe God. May God give me such power to keeping my mind have more close relationship with God.

Asa, king of Judah's faith in the Lord waned in his last few years. Even in his illness, he did not seek help from the Lord, but only from the physicians (2Ch 16:12).
Man is vulnerable to Satan. It's much more difficult to retain our confidence in the Lord than to be away from Him. "…the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him…" (16:9). May I be wise enough not to do too many foolish things and get myself into trouble!

Other churches could be encouraged about them because in all their distress and persecution, they stood firm in the Lord. No one would be unsettled by trials, and they knew quite well they were destined for them. God would then strengthen their hearts so that they would be blameless and holy.

有時候我覺得『選擇』可以看出一個人的視野，有些人總是能看到別人看不到的可能，而有些人卻永遠只能看到自己眼前所看到的，要如何讓自己不被別人影響，堅持這樣的選擇，我想信心的建立是很重要的。但願主也能給我足夠的信心，不要貪圖眼前肥美的土地而忘記您應許迦南美地，讓我有這樣的視野看到您的計畫，也能跟隨您的腳步而行。

摩西堅守原則，不容許再有人退後而得罪神、拖累人，身為領袖，摩西立場清楚。
呂便子孫與迦得子孫，表明願意一同過河征戰，「我們不回家，直等到以色列人各承受自己的產業」(18)。不知是何理由讓這二支派這麼喜歡河東之地？但這二支派並沒有將自己切割，而是願意一起承擔責任（即使征戰所得之地不歸自己）。
摩西接受二支派的訴求，然後召開大會，說明二支派的訴求及處置方式，看起來並沒有人抗議或反對。
在這件事上，沒有看到神對摩西說甚麼，摩西對二支派的回應也是「給與空間」的溝通。大原則是，不能有人在大戰中因為害怕或自身利益而袖手旁觀，其餘的事情，摩西並沒有堅持。

The Lord values loyalty. The heads of the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh were brave warriors, famous men, but they were unfaithful to the God. In the eye of the Lord, they lacked the virtue, so they were taken into exile.
The Lord is closely examining our heart and will judge whether we can see the land He promised.
